Yup - 2011 vacation. "Deep South" road trip - and we stayed in New Orleans for a few days of Jazzfest. One of my favorite cities!

Now that I've somewhat stablized myself wet shaving I have 2 big boxes of old stamps, some Korea and WWII, that my Dad passed on to me. His eyes kinda gave out so he passed the touch to me.

Lol! Not so much into the creepy crypts angle! The best cemetery we've been to here in Charlotte thus far is Elmwood Cemetery. Here are a few shots I took on Thanksgiving Day this year... It has the oldest gravestones here in Charlotte, though. We went to a cemetery in Charleston, SC a few years ago and saw stones that were pre Revolutionary War. Now THAT was really neat!
