True BBS from the Blackbird this morning. The Nacet may not be the smoothest choice, but the result was excellent. The M7 feels really nice now, scrubby no scritch, and it really whips up a creamy lather on the face.
The Barbiere Sapone is a great wake up the senses scent, performance is top notch. Hope you all have an excellent shave today.

Aftershave: Captains Choice Lime
Balm: T&H West Indian Limes


2 pass shave today. The GSB Blade still felt smooth as it dId on the first shave, and at shave #9 they have great longevity. Decided to go with MWF today since I needed a ATG pass. Good slickness and it whipped up a nice lather. Hope everyone has a great shave!

homemade / Shavemac knot
Nice shave this morning. I just couldn't leave well enough alone and relofted my shavemac finest silver tip and broke the original handle I had with this knot. So I went to the spare parts box and came up with this. There could be one more tweak in it's future but I got what I wanted with the adjustment so we'll see. I've been having alot of problems with my knee
(pain) and I'm still 6 weeks away from surgery. I'm unable to do just about everything I enjoy but shaving so it could be worse. Have a good one.

Been fighting a cold and so frit is ahead. Starting to feel better today. Two passes today and ended up with a good shave. We've been a fair amount of rain here today, but I haven't started building an Arch yet. Might start thinking about that if the rain continues for a few days. Around here it will probably -20* tomorrow.

Really nice hot shower and great shave. Much needed. The Flare Tip is such a smooth razor to use, effortless DFS. I soaked my MWF last night as it was in desperate need of hydration, came right back to life. 20 swirls with the Silvertip and I was ready to go. Brut Attitude. My wife picked this up at the dollar store some time ago, had she paid $1.01 it may have been a bit much. One cool thing it is in a glass bottle, tomorrow I'll try the red one..
I shaved my head, I wasn't planning on doing it but wanted to try my new Gillette Guard razor. Needless to say I should have went with the plan and not shaved my head, it's on fire!! Cold water, alum, witch hazel and gold bond have not stopped the burning. I had to finish my head shave with my Flare Tip.

Whupped up a huge slather of lather this morning with the big Omega boar; so much so that I went and got my phone and took a couple of pictures. I guess I put twice as much cream as necessary in my bowl to start with since I ended up with enough lather for two or three shaves. I welcomed the rich earthy scent of vetiver in stark contrast to the hard frozen ground of winter outside my home and had a great shave.

 

Good stuff. Heck of a brush! Nice pictures also. Congratulations!

 

Thanks for the review Kerry. Looks like I'll be giving the GILLETTE GUARD a wide birth.

 

I've got both but most days I like Brut Dominant (the red one) better than Brut Attitude (the blue one).
Unfortunately they're becoming harder to find so I'm wondering if they were discontinued.
