Razor: Gillette 1947 Super Speed Blade: Personna SS Lab (4) Brush: Frank Shave Finest Badger (travel brush) 20/45 Soap: Route 66 A Perfect Gent A/S: Captain's Choice Sandalwood Breaking out the travel brush for a few days. This will be better understood in the next few weeks. Outstanding shave again today. The Route 66 A Perfect Gent is another outstanding shave soap from this company.
How is the Trader Joe's balm? I have some from the kit but haven't used it yet. I used the soap and enjoyed the scent.
Beautiful razor, case, blade, soap, brush, and after shave. I like the idea of putting the name of the soap on the side. That will be my next project. Thanks.
Thank you Doug, it was an epic shave. The labels really help me identify my soaps, especially because I have multiple aftermarket tubs.
SHAVE OF THE DAY- TOBACCO TUESDAY PREP: MUSGO REAL OAKMOSS RAZOR: MAGGARD MR18C BLADE: LORD PLATINUM (1ST SHAVE) BRUSH: OMEGA S SYNTHETIC SOAP: WSP TOBACCO POST: OSAGE RUB/ WSP TOBACCO Went for a 3 pass shave today. the WSP whipped up a good lather, and I like their take on a tobacco scent. BBS finish, but got a few nicks and some redness. Decided to give the Lord Platinum a second chance, I like the other Lord blades very much, but I remember this particular one being a bit rougher than the others. Overall it was a decent shave, finished off with the matching WSP Tobacco aftershave. Hope everyone has a great shave!
Thanks. I wish I had some way to display my razors in their cases, but that starts really eating up wall real estate.
Vielen Dank, ich bin wirklich die app ich nutzen, um Bilder mit diesen Filtern zu schaffen genießen. Seien Sie gut, mein Freund
I emailed you a few pictures. I like that cabinet. You've started me thinking. Oh no, this could lead to a marital problem. I jest, I have an Ace up my sleeve. I also keep blank cards hidden in my work shop with cash in them. Just in case I for get a birthday, or the date we first met. Who remembers this stuff. My wife does. So if I have a blank card with cash in it I can pretty well escape most dates I should have remembered.
Wednesday's chilly event: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Astra day 3 Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic SS Lucky Tiger AS Cream Alt Innsbruck AS Obsession for Men EdT Although I love the Razorock On-X soap and aftershave (I really do) they don't have enough of a menthol freeze which I crave for, so I selected these items. The MITA soap's scent is so delightful, the lather's a pleasure to work up, and the menthol effect is a real excellent one with top skincare. The Lucky Tiger aftershave cream prolongs that chill, and the Alt Innsbruck hits hard with its own beautifully-scented iciness. I'd say the Astras are almost as good as the Derbys - to me they're right up there!
Excellent cold post. I had to put my Winter coat on half way through your description of your shave. Bravo!!!
Wednesday's Dove Men Face Wash Tabac Jayaruh #32 horse Gillette Black Tip Personna CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Cucumber WH Pinaud Vegetal The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #32 horse hair brush. Two passes with my Gillette Black Tip razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
