If you see anything you like ask me I'll part with them since I'm now an adjustable guy and now have 2 gold black beauty's and 2 nickel BB's
Good eye. I don't know if mehas has anything to do with weishi. Could be. They shave very much the same. All my razors were bought for their mildness.
Reading this thread encouraged me to shave with my three piece Baili (made by Weishi). With a fresh Astra blade, I got a nice bbs shave. I forgot how nice this thing saves
That's interesting, mine came with Vietnamese made Dorco ST300 blades. They're so dull that I couldn't, in good conscience give them away.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this thread and took the plunge right before NB16. This Weishi I got my hands on shaves so nice I can't believe it. Like the heft of the solid metal (no zamak there) and the finish is just stellar. All that for under 11 USD, shipping included!
I was given a Gunmetal 9306CL as a gift when I left work. Did a quick Google and discovered how much it cost and rather snobbishly dismissed it as cheap tat and put it away with the intention of selling it without using it. Fancying a change a few weeks later I decided to try it at least once. I'm so glad I did. This razor is amazingly efficient for anyone looking for an easy mild razor. I shave every couple of days, but if ever I need a top up in between, this is the razor to use. Definitely a keeper.
I took mine out of retirement and I have to say it's a nice razor. I little mild but with a feather blade, pretty good. I'll be putting it back into my rotation.
I have the same one. Looks pretty dang good and shaves pretty dang good. Weishi razors are a testament to the fact that not all great products need to be expensive. It's made well and shaves well, and looks great as it does it.
Nope, Weishi and Baili are different razor manufacturers. Bailis are all-zamak razors, while Weishi razors are made of brass. Just saying.
I have a black Van Der Weishi 9306 long handle and it shaves well enough. I still use my Merkur 34G HD razor as my primary shaver, but now and then especially when traveling I will break out one of my Weishi tools.
Really nice the Weishi PVD Black. I like the dark color of the Black Edition by Yaqi. Actually not sure of this PVD technology. I'd love to read some experience on it.
