  2. Razor: Gillette 1947 Super Speed
    Blade: Personna SS Lab (5)
Brush: Frank Shave Finest Badger (travel brush) 20/45
Soap: Route 66 A Perfect Gent
    A/S: Myrsol Blue
Excellent shave again today with this combination. Love the razor, blade, soap, brush, and after shave. This soap has a clean, masculine fragrance with citrus notes of yuzu, bergamot and lemon; mid notes of peppercorn, ginger, jasmine and a hint of peppermint. Anchored by essential oils of cedar, vetiver, labdanum, frankincense and patchouli. The long lasting, slick lather protective cushion and glide soothing post shave conditioning. Hard to go wrong with this shave soap.

  6. Enjoy the rains! I know you guys still need it.
  7. Bolzano is almost as sharp as feather, and should do well in the adjustable, keep your blade angle low to maximize the blade. I think you'll like them.
  8. Fantastic photo. :happy088: Myrsol Blue is a great AS and you really picked a winner in Route 66 soap. Every time I use the Route 66 soap, I thank you for sending me such a great gift.

On the road, with a very early morning shave.

The second shave with this combo. Yesterday's shave was close enough with this blade that I decided to go for a 1-pass ATG. I wasn't disappointed. Very smooth, clean and comfortable. I may get by with another one-pass tomorrow!

With the results I'm getting from three different blades, I am perplexed. Either it almost doesn't really matter which blade I use, this razor is that good; or I need more time and experience as a shaver to really be able to discern slight differences with blades. I'd suspect it may be a combination of the above. Tough problems to have!

    Cheers!

  16. Excellent post RT. Thanks for your insight.
  17. Maybe you are just that good that you can make any blade work wonders, you know TTT! The C1 seems to be fairly automatic now that you have had a few days with it. Congrats on the 1 pass ATG shaves!
