    No time to shave yesterday after a good snowfall so I had enough stubble this morning for a full 3 pass shave. I sure do like the scents in the St James of London line but the performance just doesn't match with the price. I'll run through the rest of my samples and maybe take a few on vacation someplace where there's softer water and see if that makes a difference.

    Thanks guys - it's my favorite looking razor, I just love it. It gives a fantastic shave as well. :love055:

    The F is the designation given to that type of Schick. The naming was not from Schick but developed years later as a means of identifying the different models. Here's another look at it:

    The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #32 horse hair brush. Two passes with my Gillette Black Tip razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
