Tell the Dr. you're not leaving without pain meds., then come back here and have one heckuva PIF party!
I hardly ever answer the phone, the "tech-retary" usually does. I'm usually too entrenched in work orders, a server, vSphere, or AD/GP to be bothered
Dude I have way too many pain meds. Thats not the problem. I'm more concerned as to why my foot resembles something from a zombie film.
I voluntarily stepped down from a position as the IT Administrator of a small school to take a job as an IT guy for the city. Pretty much what I do is answer the phone all day and walk people through stupid, routine procedures... Best career/(mental)health move I ever made.

Have you considered the possibility that SWMBO just decided to smack you around a little while you were sleeping because of something you did? Women can be like that.
If she was going to do that I doubt that she would have aimed for my foot. Probably something higher up that would inflict more pain.
Went to the doctor who said go to the hospital and get an x ray. The hospital said the bones aren't broken it's probably the muscles go back to the doctor. I'm just relieved nothing is broken.
I have been both a teacher & a student today. In the morning, I tutored my Afghan student & then I went for an archery lesson. I hadn't had one in a while and it was good to resume. I need the practice & I like my coach.
I've been cut several times by the "feathers" on the arrows when my grip was wrong. It's okay, it was only fletch wounds
