  1. Not that I noticed. We tend to use what works the best most of the time.
  2. Just shaved my head with the same software that I used this morning, CF Sherlock. Man I feel so much better! My last head shave was a borderline ER visit. Smooth as silk. Gillette Atra handle with a generic (Schick) cartridge. [IMG]

  3. Way to go.
  4. Thanks, Clint! I really needed a good head shave today because I had a couple really bad ones recently. I need to stick with what works.
  5. Lovely setting.
  6. Adam, is that one of those handles from the Etsy shop? CNC something?
  7. Love the Cattaraugus, nice companion to the Red Injun.
  8. Yes, CNCBrushs (his spelling) Its a great handle to use. Even though you don't need to soak a synthetic brush, I like to soak this one. The handle stays warm to the touch throughout the shave if you soak it in warm water. I do have to be careful not to bang it on my ceramic lather bowl however.
  9. Vintage shave gear doesn't have to be politically correct. I can blame it on the dudes from 75-1000 years ago.
  10. I'm just about to treat myself to a nice shave after a day and night revising for UK door legislation test tomorrow. It is as boring as it sounds. I'm glad I've got my lovely razor to cheer me up :happy088:

  11. Glad everything went well and you got a good head shave in! How are the ribs doing?
  12. I am going to plead colonial ignorance and ask what is meant by door legislation test? Are you testing doors to see if they comply with regulations or something of that nature? No matter what, enjoy your shave and I hope it works to cheer you up!
  13. It's mainly to do with automatic doors, the laws and safety measures ect our laws are pretty stringent as they have killed people in the past. It also enables the company's to blame the guys like me fitting them when they do. Like I said it's very boring, my shave just brought plenty of excitement back into my life though.
  14. very proud to announce I achieved my first big cut tonight. The 1924 dealt a lesson in respect. In a strange way I'm very proud of my first big one. I adopted a philosophy often spoke about here. I was going to avoid the snake bite when I thought what's the worst that can happen. It hurt a lot but I'm still breathing. I was to confident and paid the price. I decided I wasn't taking a cut like that without catching the baby though so my head is supper smooth with a large chunk missing. Great shave and a great lesson.
  15. Great pic Clint everything just works well together
  16. It happens to all of us at one point or another. At least you have a great attitude about it.

    Thank you Sir.
  17. That one blade is possibly the nicest razor I've seen. I checked the link you put up its beautiful.
  18. Love the picture. Wondering how you got them colours?

  19. I agree the blues look great. Don't envy the weather though :Animatedfrozensmily:
  20. Glad you had a great head shave. I'm so thankful I went thin on top and began head shaving. To me there is no better feeling than a perfect head shave and nice post shave products on my scalp. I love it
