I cannot buy this here in Idaho but when I visit family in Las Vegas I find it at Total Wine. It is quite reasonable at $21.99 for a 1.75 ( half gal)

I buy the Reposado because it is much smoother than the silver. I have never found a Tequila that will compare to it without spending $50 and I do like my expensive tequilas. This one is a must try if you can find it

That's a great Tequila razorburn. I like the Cabo Anejo a lot too

+1 on Patron. All other Tequilas make me want to wrestle large kitchen appliances.

How do you drink this stuff? My limited experience with Tequila is usually as a shot, but that usually not to my advantage.
Do you sip it like whisky or use it as an ingredient in a drink/cocktail?

Really fine aged Tequila can be sipped like whiskey. The cheap stuff is best used for Margaritas.

I sip it like whiskey. But it has to be a good quality tequila; the cheap stuff is not enjoyable straight.

I usually enjoy tequila with some salt and lemon, but SWMBO apparently thinks it's a bad idea...

Thanks. I wonder if I can get a hold of some good quality Tequila in the Norseland. I am most familiar with the Jose Cuervo kinds, but I know nothing of the quality

For anyone who likes spicy, peppery tequilas, this is my favorite, Corralejo Reposado

Howdy! I have limited experience with tequila; however, it is popular these days. Many know about the various drink combinations with tequila such as margaritas, tequila sunrises, etc. Is there such a thing as a drink called a tequila mockingbird?
    Always,

Straight up, no salt or lime. Been my go to tequila for as long as I can remember...and even those nights I don't remember ;) love the taste. Tried patron and some others but none have the bite like ol Jose.

Cava de Oro extra anejo straight from mexico, smoothest tequila I have ever had.

After spending some time down in mexico, I was surprised to learn that margarita's aren't the popular drink of choice and was instead turned on to the Paloma......soooooooooo tasty!
