Visiting my brother & family in Charleston, West Virginia. We had a couple unscedualed hours, so visited a flea market close by. While wandering booth to booth, I came across an old guy with a single straight razor displayed in a display cabinet. So I asked,"Sir do you have any other straights?" He looked me up and down and made his decision. Reaching under the table he sat at, brought out a shoe box. I grinned and commenced to inspect. From the 40 or so, I choose these four, total bill - $35.00. Top left; Manhattan Cutlery, a Sheffield wedge. Top right; Torrey from Worchester, USA. Bottom left; Columbia Cutlery, also from Worchester, in correct box. Bottom right; Eagle cutlery, parts unknown.
Boring but I found a minty 1970s set of 5 orange Tupperware nesting canisters for $4. Since I do a lot of the cooking lately, they're handy to have around.
Before and after pics of a no-name DE I found yesterday. There are no identifying marks on it. After a dip in Barbacide tonight, I'm going to try it tomorrow morning.
Got these cut outs of shaving mugs from friends fiancé. Just don't know what outside of some SOTD to do with them. Guess I need my own shave room. At first I thought they were cappacinno mugs.
That's not a Bar Handle. It's smaller. You just can't tell in the photo. And don't Segals require proprietary blades? This one takes standard DE blades.
