The Black Beauty looks fantastic. What do you think of the After Shave Face Oil?

Cool photo Marverel. It brought back wonderful memories of my mom and her mom's crocheting. :)

I like the Badger Shave Oil. I only use it on Sunday. So far so good. It was a Christmas gift from my wife. If there is a negative it is the size of the opening at the bottle. You don't need much, but much can come out.:)

Thank you! I have three different Native American watch bands, eight rings, fourteen belt buckles, six bolo ties, and four tie tacks. I love this type of silver smithing.

Perhaps you could put them altogether in a photo. Sounds like interesting products. Congratulations!!!

Great pic Doug, I've been looking at the black beauties lately and didn't like the look of them but seeing yours has changed my opinion. It's really nice

Just had another great head shave, I'm sticking with what works best. Gillette Atra with a generic (Schick) Atra cartridge. Same setup from a this mornings face shave, CB LMR.
It feels so good to have a great face and head shave.

Day 7 and final day with the Week long Mongoose focus was another good one. Loaded with a Kai Captain blade, it produced an effortless 2 pass DFS.
I will be switching it up a bit and trying a week long focus with the Merkur Futur to compare against the Pils and Mongoose week long focus.

Just an ok headshave tonight. Noticing it's very tough to hit even close to bbs with the gem se blade on its third run. I'm hoping abit of TTT will solve this issue as although they are inexpensive I would like at least 3 good shaves per blade. Unless you more experienced guys think it's asking to much?

Would love to do a comparison like that - I just lack the Mongoose and the Pils :D
But I will interrupt my focus tomorrow for a test shave with my new birth quarter Slim Adjustable

I am learning yet another skill on this focus. This month I am focusing on hard soaps. Up until this month, I was pretty much a cream fan that used TOBS more than anything else. I used Arko as a travel soap but struggled when face lathering with most other hard soaps. Today I worked with a TSD soap that I had frankly struggled with in the past. Today I figured out that this soap takes a different soap to water ratio than Arko and got a great lather. Paired up with my Grand Shave King, I got a great shave this morning.
    SOTD
TSD Double Iced Florida Water Soap
    AoS Pure Badger brush
    Grand Shave King
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (1)
    TSD Egyptian Spice AS
    Have a nice Sunday!
