This is my only badger at the moment. It does a nice job of building lather on my face. I load it when it is fairly dry and then add a little water to the tips to get the right slickness.

MWF is fantastic! Great skincare, little or no scent, I find it easy to lather. My Milord is a 1947.

Thank you Doug. The shave was a good start to the work week. With today being MLK day, the traffic was very light which made for a great start today. I hope you have a great day.

Sometime between today and 30 days from today, I'll buy a disposeABLE cartridge razor, like from Shick or Gillette. Y'know, one of those 3 0r4 per bags. I'm not quite ready for just one with numerous cartridges.

That's why I'm going to the gym this morning, instead of usual evenings during the week. Plus, there's some snow that snuck in here overnight. Anytime I can take advantage of morning workouts, I will.

I'm decided to start the week out on the dark side. Still loving the Route 66. I had a nice shave with my ODH straight. I did one pass and then some cleanup with my Grand Shave King.

Razor: Gillette Black Beauty (R2) 1971
    Blade: Personna SS Lab (4)
Brush: Fendrihen Silver Tip Badger Faux Horn Handle 22/49
    Soap: Route 66 Frozen Margarita
    A/S: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Excellent Menthol Monday shave on a cool Winter's day. The Fendrihen Sliver Tip badger brush took what seemed like forever to stop loosing hairs. I was sure I was going to give up on it, but for some reason I just kept going back to it. Then all of a sudden it stopped loosing hair. Now it is a great brush. ;)
DFS today with 3 passes. Excellent finish with Aqua Velva Ice Blue.

    Sounds like a catcher.
    Perhaps a corner infielder.

I was thinking catcher or first base too, especially with the size of some of those guys these days. Nothing wrong with being built like a caddy and not like a Porsche. Myself I am built like the Escalade (the large SUV).

Well I had a shave Saturday and one today with the Bolzano blade. What is there to say but this blade is great! It may have actually become my favorite blade. It is everything but as nice as the Gillette Silver Blues and sharper. Used the Executive on 6 with the blade and it works great!!

Friday's and Saturday's shaves both lasted 10+ hours before starting to reappear which is the longest I ever get. By the next morning I really could skip a shave if I wanted which only ever happens with the GSB. So this is a great blade for me. Will be ordering some from GiftsandCare in the near future (probably this afternoon). An excellent blade I recommend for everyone to try.

Decided the Bolzano needed a direct comparison to the GSB so at least the next shave or two will be with the GSB.

Hope everyone has a great Monday (mine is off to a great start because I don't have to be at work today!)!
