  1. Good Evening Gentlemen, last saturday's shave :

    - Dr Selby Lime cream
    - Tadé silver plated brush
    - "SOS" dual-head DE
    - DR Harris Bay Rum AS

The DE sure is curious, but slightly damaged so it can't shave properly, so I ended up using my W&H Eltham.

    Bonne soirée Messieurs ;)

  7. You see Karl that's why I didn't want to shave with the rolls razor I had.. Scaaaary thing that blade.. I did two attempts at shaving with it and never got past half way down my cheek..

  9. Thanks. Thought I'd try something different on the Bird and it was great. The Hempel is titanium so it's light and seemed to give me good control. It did change the feel dramatically and will take another use or two to fully adjust. The Blackbird is a unique creature to tame.

Feeling nostalgic, looking forward to Summer. Back in the day, if it was a long weekend, I was out of the country Scuba Diving. Now I Jet Ski and water ski with my family a lot of the summer in Destin Florida. Come on summer!! Keeps me young.

The Gillette Tech is a nice mild razor and it's like new, like me. Remember the 60s are the new 40s. The Erskine brush whipped up a thick warm lather in the OS Mug as it was sitting on a wash cloth, for padding, in the sink that was filled with hot water. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Catch the "warm" drift? Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm and some Vintage Bay Rum. I feel young and back in the islands, or Destin works just fine too. I can almost feel the warm sand between my toes. Ahhhhh!
