Thank you..I have used each of them once this week..I used the Kent first & then the HB brush..The HB brush is softer than the Kent but has a bit more backbone..The HB brush is the superior brush..That said the Kent brush is a nice brush an all..The HB brush has that extra backbone though even though its the softer of the two..They are not expensive either & the Company kept in touch with me until it got here...You have a 14 day cash back return policy if you don't want it for any reason & or change your mind...No Quibble.. Billy..
Btw, if anyone is interested, I know a seller that is looking to get rid of his almost unused NF 2001 - white resin handle w/ 2-band High Mountain badger. (Not me but if anyone is interested PM me and I can get you two talking). Seller's photo:
Had some Amazon points burning a whole in my pocket so I finally bought a Futur. Look and feels nice and I hope I enjoy shaving with it!
Both are the same, they just recently changed from blue to white. I recently received a box with white wrappers, and have a few boxes of the blue wrapped.
My latest haul. Razor is a DeFitch (head has really bad reviews but pretty much got it for the handle) and it came with 10 Treet Blades Body Shop synthetic brush, and some alum, the rest is obvious by the photo. Still waiting on a couple soaps from Stirling and from Mason Boutique and a brush from Jayurah (JR13) which I'm very stoked for
I received the same DeFitch for Christmas, also mostly for the handle. I will say that it is a very nice handle, especially if you like longer handles. The included Treet Platinum blades are also very good; for me, they are right up there with the Astra SP and the GSB. OTOH, the reviews have scared me off of even looking at the head.
Nice haul. Keep us posted on the Jayaruh brush. I have the Jayaruh #12 and love it, look forward to your review. Enjoy!
DILEMMA I'm currently trying to abide by NB16 with regards to razors but then this comes along at a price I'm still wondering if it's a scam.
Received my first Tabac shaving soap last week. Used it this morning and it's a 'good' soap with a 'good' scent but nothing, so far, stands out as exceptional when comparing it to soaps like Klar Kabinett and i Coloniali. We'll see - maybe I need to use it a few more times
The head on mine looks pretty good. Just feels surprisingly light. But the handle is quite nice. Like it a lot
Received my first vintage, full-sized butterscotch brush. It actually looked better in person. No cracks or anything in the handle and the knot is very dense and soft. I think this one can be ready to be used after just a good cleaning. Now I'm just a bit curious about who made it but I'm guessing it's a Vulfix brush. We'll see.
I posted a question about a week ago regarding supermax blades and @ram57 was kind enough to PIF some my way and even some Rapira SS which I had never tried. Thank you Guy, very generous of you my friend!
