1982 Black Beauty

While this thread is under hijack, I was a sophomore in HS in 82. I never knew at the time that Gillette was still making DE razors.

Just found my first love in '79...Michelle...she gave me the blue horsey stick that day in preschool

The date code on the plastic bottom models is in the blade tray. Enjoy your adventure.

 

I use a Black Beauty often, in my rotation. I bought it new in the early 80's, and I love it. I have two others I bought at the same time... one in the package, and one in half the package, but both never used. I think they are great razors. The one I use, and the one in the open package are W-3, which makes them 1976 razors. The one in the complete package has the black base plate, and I can't see the dates, but it's gotta be a what... 79 or later?
