Honestly, a large ceramic latte cup I bought from Target for $3.99. The only "bowl type item" I have made exclusively for shaving is my Becker Scuttle everything else is just a simple household bowl. I'll post a picture of it next time but the attached photo is a $1 salsa bowl from Walmart that works great with Stirling soap.

The Futur is a work of art, and you show that off beautifully in your photo. I use my Futur on 1.5 with a Feather blade, and I couldn't imagine pushing it to 6. I may try 2 or 3 for fun:eatdrink013:

Lol thanks. I noticed that I took the photo before I popped a cartridge into it so the head looks a bit odd :)

The razor is the Wilkinson Protector and this particular model is the German "Metal" from the 1980's

Thanks. This was my first time using the L"Homme soap. I've been looking for a while and just received it in a trade. It lathered very easily and with very little loading I had more than enough for three passes. Performance was excellent, and smelled really good, setting the stage for the balm and EdT. If this were my daily setup I'd be content.

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Proraso Green Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #37 Synthetic
    Eversharp-Schick G1
    Personna
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #37 Synthetic brush. Two passes with my Eversharp-Schick G1 razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160120_181634.jpg

    Prep: shower, Musgo Real classic
    Razor: Gillette Tech
    Blade: Gillette nacet (5th shave)
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: Mystery Soap
    Post: Catties Bubbles LPV

2 pass shave today. I love the scent of this soap, and it makes a thick lather. The Nacet is starting to show it's age a bit. Overall it was a very smooth comfortable shave. Hope everyone had good luck as well.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought those blades were tugging a bit. I agree that the shave was not bad considering.
