If you only knew how hard it was to fit them all onto that shelf lol - had to keep squishing them closer...and now I have four more en route to me.... Problem solved: I obviously need a bigger shelf.
This inexpensive grinding stone via the bayz. It only took six weeks to arrive. Plan to see if I can toy with it to sharpen some Gem blades.
Went for the JAN10 at Maggards and nowS Sweet, Kerry looks mean with that black gator like skin pattern. Enjoy!
At the moment i'm surfin on the SE-Razor Wave...so i bought: GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip Curious on that beautiful razor.
today I hauled the black pearl. I was the lucky winner of the full size product from retro shave shop. thank you very much. the pearl smells wonderful. it is spicy and lightly floral. but it is very delicate. it is not heavy, but lightly intoxicating. can't wait to set sail. yo ho yo ho,a pirate's life for me.
I had ordered a pack of carbon steel Feathers when I found out that they were junk. Being cheap as I am, I was trying to save a few bucks. Well, I decided to order ten stainless Feather SE blades from Try A Blade. They came in today and the carbon steel blades are still in postal limbo. The Feathers are glued in the wrapper pretty well. I used some alcohol to remove the glue and then I loaded two of my AutoStrop razors. I will be shaving with them over the next week.
Received this Schick (G2?). Solid gold plated handle. Looks better than it did in the photos which is always a pleasant surprise.
To my big surprise, I received a PIF containing a tub of I Coloniali "Mango" shaving soap and an EdT sample of Acqua di Gio. Thanks, @Marverel ! Much much appreciated!
A couple of things came in, Route 66 Sea and Citrus shave soap next an Ever-Ready 500n brush for a restore and lastly a Valet VC4 with the "runner guard " that will eventually get refitted to take a Personna blade. It never stops....
