Good morning everyone,I had a another great shave today, The Lord blade was as smooth today as it was the first day.
As always the C.O. Bigelow provides a great lather,My new E-Shave brush is really starting to feel softer and splay out more when face lathering.
Enough has already been said about the Gillette Fatboy Razors So all I'll say is Another great BBS shave=ONE HAPPY ILTS!!

Frosty Ferox Friday
The I do have other razors edition. I decided to go with my Aristocrat today and it shaved like a dream - very smooth and easy with little chance of drama. I like this razor because it reminds me of the one my Dad used. Ferox again provided excellent lather and that wonderful scent of peppery grapefruit. PAA Ice chilled as is prepped my stubble for its fate, and I so enjoyed it that I added Krampert's Finest Frostbite as the finishing touch to extend the cooling.

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush
Soap/cream- Fitjar Isrose shave soap
Brush- Plisson synthetic
Razor- AlumiGoose
Blade- Feather Artist club Professional
Post- Cold water rinse, Humphrey Witch hazel, DR Harris Sandalwood aftershave lotion and a mix of Nivea Original aftershave balm and Crabtree and Evelyn Indian Sandalwood

Sooo, my first ever shave with the AlumiGoose. I know this is my first shave but ohh man! I got an amazing shave.

I really dont know what to say, it took about 2 strokes before I understood what angle to use. The blade is VERY sharp, cuts better than any other blade I have used. Very very nice.

Because the razor was a gift from my brother and his wife I thought I would use 2 other gifts I got last year. Fitjar and Dr Harris. The C&B also a birthday gift last year but from my girlfriend.

Awesome awesome shave! Very happy with this razor

Edit: Some more impressions. I was told that this razor was loud or at least louder than other razors. I was talking to Kerry and he asked me if it was. I have actually not thought about it while shaving, if it was loud I couldn't pick it up or at least it didn't stand out on the first shave.

And also I think I have never gotten this close of a shave with 2 passes with any other razor. Darn! AlumiGoose where have you been all this time.

Im really hoping that I can get more shaves with a Feather Pro blade than I would get out of a DE razor blade. I have recently started to experiment with DE blades to see how many GOOD shaves I can get with 1 blade, I think the answer is 4. Im hoping I get at least 8-10 shaves with a Feather pro blade or other blades in the mongoose.

GOOD MORNING GUYS. THIS MORNING I DECIDED TO TAKE THE OLD ADJUSTABLE FOR A DRIVE ON SETTING (5) AND I'M SO GLAD I DID. VERY SMOOTH BBS IN THREE PASSES WITH A MINOR TOUCHUP UNDER MY RIGHT JAW LINE. I ALSO SHAVED MY HEAD WITH IT SET TO (3) AND BBS THERE TO WITH 2 PASSES WTG AND 2 PASSES ATG SOME TOUCHUPS AS NEEDED. HAVE A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY.
