today's shave was very nice. the pearl feels like a personal secret. it's fresh and light and so very delicate. it inspires confidence(knowing it smells so clean and nice). I made three passes with the Diamond Edge for a close comfy shave. finished with a splash of vetiver and a trial test batch of the pearl aftershave balm. I'm sharp and feeling great.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

My friend, yes - it is that strong. It's a definite face-freezer and the menthol effect lasts for about a half hour after you put it on.

 

Looks great. Congrats on a great first shave. They will get better as you get used to the razor.

 

This shave had my eyes tearing and my nose running a little. Not so much from the Sottozero soap although it's quite cold, but from the Diana balm and the Snake Bite aftershave because they are FRIGID. BBS again so easily!

 

Thanks @Robyflexx...this is one of my "red" photos. You are turning out to be the Great Encourager on the SOTD thread! Great work....we can all use a bit of encouragement from time to time!

 

To bad about the nick, I always give shaving 100% focus. I really dont recall ever cutting myself HAHA. is that weird? This omega brush!!! I think Im in love

 

whaaaaaaat? hahaha that seems a bit much for me =P one aftershave I wanna try is Osage rub and the alcolado glacial =P

 

Lol! If the shaves get better then ehmm... I might sell all my other razors hahahaha (not gonna happen for real, just saying) I got a Really really good shave, I wasn't expecting the first shave to be this good =)

 

Oh for me the Mongoose was great from the beginning but the shaves really improved after the first month of daily use.

The Black Pearl. Wife approved. Lovely floral, woodsy mellow scent. Just a right blend of everything, nothing is overwhelming. The Black Pearl aftershave lotion is very soothing. I'll shave my head later with the same soap/aftershave. Great shave.
