  2. That's an interesting brush. I like the stealth looking black on black with the gold lettering. Let us know how it works for you

  7. Another brush to restore arrived today. This is a Rubberset 200-2. No damage just dirty. I'm going to clean it and get a new knot. image.jpeg

  8. I have a few of those at home and the rubber top makes me shy away. The one I tried to do broke when extracting the knot. Good luck to you though sir.

  12. I'm going to give it a shot. Basically I cut the knot off and go to work with a Dremel. Easy does it for sure just carve away really. I did another Made Right that was set in rubber a while back it came out fine. Slow and easy wins the race on this job.....

  13. Just received ... The "Gillette" Super Click, from Ebay...for $3.99 (No Shipping Charge?) This, just about, satisfies my culmination in the varieties of 'Vintage Razors' I've sought (33 Safety Razors). Am I through? Probably not! But; The 'RUSH' of the gatherings has now dissipated. I'll keep my eyes open for the "RARE" ones...but...all-in-all....WHEW! I SHAVE with ALL of Them...but; I'll NOT Open the sealed Package on the "CHEAPEST-ONE" of them all; The "Gillette" Super Click; from Taiwan! hah, hah, hah.. 000_0656.JPG
  14. Received this old Wilkinson Fixed Profile metal razor.
The poor packaging - thin envelope instead of a box - unfortunately resulted in a crack in the plastic lid but...as the razor was less than $3 I'd feel bad even mentioning it.

The razor itself is pure NIB/NOS though and looks/felt great

The razor is very similar to another design by Sir Kenneth Grange - the Wilkinson Royale (t0 the right below) - but with less metal in the handle and therefore less heavy.

  15. @Darkbulb it's very cool! Does it take atra blades and or sensor blades?

  16. February 10th 2003? Man, that took FOREVER to get to you! :happy097:

  18. Well, I am glad I am doing No buy eBay 2016, because I could not pass this handle up at Elite Razor. Now I have to plan the knot to put in this combination Buckeye Burl and resin handle. Coming soon to a mailbox near me. Yeas, this one I am bragging about.
