I do the same thing, except I have 3 daylight LED lights. I built two light stands using PVC pipe. I connected the stands with at the top with a cross piece to make a light rack. They're easy and cheap to build, and they can be disassembled for storage. I leave mine set up in the basement.

I use other lights as well. In my case desk lights.

    Hello TSD,

I'm a bit busy today, so this is just a short update on a quick and dirty shave ;) No time for a picture...

2 Passes WTG and XTG, no touchups. DFS with zero irritation, did not feel the Aftershave at all. :happy088:

Watch and ring today are both Navajo, with Turquoise and Red Coral. Spent more time on the hones yesterday, and received even more proof that you can make something sharp enough to shave with without making it comfortable to shave with. This razor is still very tuggy. Managed a three pass shave, N/S, XTG, S/N, and I would rate it at a SAS. I didn’t want to get the razor burn I got last time, from lifting the spine too far away from the skin, so I didn’t push it. I probably would have been better off to grab the chief’s head razor after the first stroke, but I had already taken this picture…

First time using a Badger brush in a while. When I first used it, I though this brush was huge. It feels small compared to the 28mm synthetic knot, but so much softer and easier to work with. Ended up with two weepers today, but no cuts. Closeness C, Irritation B, Keenness C, Smoothness C.

Firstly like to wish @NCoxSTL a speedy recovery, my wife's uncle suffers from the same thing so I've heard how bad it is. Glad your back.
I've been working in Wales which has beautiful scenery but absolutely no internet or signal, I think they only got electricity about 5 years ago. So I had a lot of catching up to do again. It's nice to see all you budding photographers giving up your secrets.... I never stood a chance. Welcome to the new guy JR, I believe? These guys really know what they are on about I'm 2 months in and they have helped no end. I'm going to skip talking about my shave as it was mediocre, nothing negative but I really don't rate these gem blades after 2 shaves. Instead I would like to tap into the groups knowledge regarding the Gillette fat boy adjustable 1959. How does it perform? Is it aggressive? And is there any difference between a 1st quarter and 3rd quarter? Thanks in advance :happy088:

Amazing BBS shave today. Perfect combination of razor, blade, brush, soap, and after shave. The Route 66 Lumberjack with notes of fresh pear and pineapple, mid notes of juniper berries and eucalyptus; and well rounded base notes of spruce woods, Douglas fir, cedar and white musk. Long lasting, slick lather protective cushion and glide soothing post shave conditioning. Amazing shaving soap.

You could almost be a sales rep for Route 66. You have definitely influenced my next choice of soap.

It's that good. I even wrote to @Salty Belle after my puppy scratched the label on my jar, she sent a new lid so my photos wouldn't be jacked up. TSD and R66 have my loyalty now in the small batch market. Will buy in the future.

Thanks. Route 66 has good quality shaving soaps. I believe that and many others at TSD believe it also. I'm not alone. We're all in this together. :)
