Cost Plus Moka Java, brewed in the Technivorm. Decent cup 'o joe! "Beans from Yemen, distinguished for their rich, full body with bittersweet chocolate and fruity overtones, are medium roasted and then blended with light-bodied Indonesian beans for a complex, earthy cup."
Java Time $5 for a big ol' bag at Big Lots (20% off today). Don't know where it comes from but says Arabica and gets decent reviews on Amazon. For the money, worth a shot. Going to make it in my trusty Coffeemaster tomorrow morning; if it has any flavor, that thing will put it in the cup.
My morning cups of coffee have been transformed to a morning cup of hot tea. Funny how I lost the taste for coffee last year.
I know what you mean. Over the years I have gone through phases with coffee and tea. Right now I have lost my taste for tea. Have been enjoying Italian roast coffee lately. And even with coffee I go through phases with drinking it black versus with blend, cream, milk or even a few sprinkles of sugar. I will eventually drift back to tea.
Opposite for me, Green tea now makes me pukey. You always try coffee brewed different ways to see if the taste is truly all gone.
Today had Columbia Excelsio that was roasted by a hobbyist friend of mine that was outstanding and had over my usual Kalita wave pour over method.
Two 7 gram scoops of Colombian, hand-ground in a vintage Zassenhaus mill, and brewed through a Wilbur Curtis 2-cup "Coffee Saver"...
I've been looking all over for a coffee company called Don Francisco. I get coupons in the paper for their coffee, but it is't sold in supermarkets. Has anyone tried DF?
