Just had a good laugh with a co-worker, who is around my same age, but who apparently never heard the tales and rumors of "Yellow #5" from back in the day. When I told her that basically, the saying goes that it's a human male "shrinky dink".....well, I probably shouldn't have waited til she was taking a big drink of Mt Dew, to say the least Of course, her drinking a Mt Dew is what what brought the topic up in the first place. And, of course, that segued into the fact our boss drinks a LOT of Mt Dew
Been suffering with pain due to pinched nerve in neck for over 1 week. Started off with left trap muscle pain. Had some RMT and oddly enough next day pain transfered right side. Thought it was odd, makes sense now since I found pain source stemmed from vertebrae. Admit to compensating with RAD. I think I'm on the up. Used a mix of TENS and topical muscle relaxants.
Finally shoveled out to FREEDOM today! We ended up with about 20", but the wind blew it all over so we had parts of the neighborhood with 6" and parts with several feet. Now, let's hope that some of these smaller streets start getting plowed! Very thankful for all of the plow drivers, EMTs, fire and police officers putting in the extra time to keep the DC area safe over this weekend
Sounds like you're getting ready to move to Canada. Well the bank stuff is taken care of! I now have the funding to start my business. Yay!! Aside form that here's a quick pic of the sunset tonight from the town I live in. The sun was setting behind the mountains on my way home and was beautiful!
Good to hear you're on the mend, Rob! Take care! Truly beautiful shot, Luke! And congratz on the funding of the bizznizz! You'd better get bizzy now, I guess!
Thanks @macaronus, this getting back to normal is taking lnger than I expected. Goes in waves, may try some other therapy if pain persists.
Arrived safe and sound in SXM after a two hour delay that got cancelled. (?) Left right on time, but hit an unusual amout of turbulence along the way. Had an empty seat between myself and a sweet little old lady who wouldn't shut the hell up and kept poking me to talk to me. ugh. Oh well, maybe I made her day a little better.
Maybe she was just curious why you were so dressed up, not everyone wears a tuxedo when they fly, ya know
First the bad news; I dug my car out of the snow, only to find that it had a flat tire. Now the good news; It was just the valve pin, which didn't cost much to replace.
@Sara-s if your tire is otherwise in good shape, check the hole, if it's small enough you can use a fix-a-flat drive to the tire shop and just have them plug it for like 8 to 10 bucks.
Back from physical therapy (for me) & th orthopedist (for the hubby). Fortunately, both are in the same building. Unfortunately, he has a tear in a tendon in his arm. Not sure yet, but this may need a minor surgical procedure.
