I liked Jessica Jones ... different approach to the Superhero theme. Daredevil was pretty good as well. Looking forward to them forming a group.

I gave daredevil three eps before giving up. It never got me started. Maybe because I grew up reading a lot of Marvel comics incl Daredevil, and have my own image of him and the story? Am going to try JJ - is it a kind of series to watch with my better half, you think?

I didn't get through the first episode of Jessica Jones (same as Powers), and only 5 episodes of Daredevil. I am glad Agent Carter is back :) ...
I will give the first three mentioned another try...

Yeah, Daredevil started pretty slow, but I thought it was a nice change from the usual pace. I too had a very different picture in mind, but I got used to the characters.

I watched Jessica Jones with my wife and she liked it. Quite some girlpower. Pretty dark though, since the main character is a traumatized alcoholic and not really likeable. But it also has its funny moments.

I gave up cable TV a couple years ago. Doesn't mean I quit watching my favorite shows. One thing I don't encounter as much - commercials. It works out OK because I don't hear about a series until the season is over. Y'all have given enough titles to keep me on IMDB for an hour! Then I only need choose what to binge next.

I just watched the first episodes of Billions, very enjoyable. The first episode of The Shannara Chronicles is not too bad too...

Another show that I really should like is "Colony" but after watching the first episode I'm still not sold on it. Good concept..but felt very slow.

iZombie and Limitless, both have or will skip two weeks .Why has a repeat/encore of Limitless be shown this week? If I hadn't of missed episode 2 of Agent Carter and the new series of Billions and The Shannara Chronicles I would have been bored...

I am off work for a month or more. I only usually have a few hours every evening to fill, this is a nightmare...

I just do Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu+, so most of what I watch is from those. In no particular order I've been watching:

    X-Files
    Jessica Jones
    Gotham
    American Horror Story
    Scream Queens
    Modern Family
    Fresh off the Boat
    Goldbergs

I'm a big fan of the BBC series. I just finished Ripper Street (season 3), and watched the second half of The Last Kingdom (s1) last night. It was the best season of Ripper Street, hands down! TLK was alright, some episodes were better than others, but it always seemed a little slow. That being said though, I'll be watching the next season when it airs.

I also can't wait for the last season of Broadchurch to come out. I LOVE that show! And Longmire too...even though it's not BBC)

Peaky Blinders -- I usually dislike historical dramas that use modern pop music for the soundtrack (sort of puts me off a bit), but with PB, it just seems to fit!

It is beautifully photographed, and all the characters are charismatic -- criminal gangs are nothing new; the show is set in northern England just after the first World War. Highly recommended!

I ended up watching both the UK and US version of Broadchurch. Great stuff. If you haven't watched "The Fall" you may enjoy it.

I haven't seen the fall. I'll look it up, thank you! I tried watching the American Broadchurch...it just didn't click with me. Though I find it hilarious that David Tennant got the part for that one too! :)

I don't think this will be everyone's cup of moonshine - but I rather enjoyed the season premiere of Outsiders.

I thought Lucifer was entertaining, even though it was the same basic cop show concept. Into the Badlands is good and X-Files has been a pretty good show so far, even though the timing seems off somehow. Still have a pile of stuff to watch...Dr Who, Agents of Shield, Heroes, Walking Dead and Scream Queens . Maybe I'll get some time.

Looking forward to see what they do with Preacher, could be good but could also be awful.

Finally got around to watching Lucifer. I think it was ok. It's one of those shows I think I'll catch once in a blue moon and not suffer too much from having skipped some episodes :)
