    Cyndi, I'm with you. I love the convenience of some things. I would never have met all of the folks here but for the Internet.

    But I also like knowing that I could do without if I needed to, and so could my daughter.

    Going back to original post

    Going back to old versus modern.. Has anyone ever read the Foxfire series of books? They have always intrigued me.

    Oh, I just found the herb books... .omg.... :drool :drool :drool :drool

    There is homemade soap there too!!!!! Woohoooo and Shaving Soap!

    I feel a case of AD coming on hard and fast.... ;-)

    Yes, those are the ones. :) I thought maybe you'd like them. They are on my AD list but down near the bottom since there are so many of them. That's why I've kind of forgotten about them.
