Thank you William. If you like menthol Cryogen has it by the boatloads. Maggards sells sample sizes if you want to try it but not commit.
It is what I'm counting on. I think I was spoiled by the Bolzano blade though because it was super sharp and so smooth right from the start. Hoping to get some great shaves from the feather.
Tea tree EO SOTD One EO that I don't see much of in soaps or balms is tea tree oil. Maybe it's because of its strong scent, it would over power other scents. Even as a main scent it's self though there are only a few who make it. Sterling makes one I would like to try in the future. It's numerous benifits seem perfect for wet shaving. So I just added a few drops to my existing mildly scented soap. It was a great idea. An area of my neck was still tender so I used Dorco 301'S with for me are a sharp enough blade but extremely smooth for when my skin is tender. There is an old and new packaging with the 301'S. I haven't noticed any difference performance wise so I believe it is just cosmetic changes. The 300's for me are not the greatest. While Dorco is a Korean company. These 300's are made in Vietnam. It says on the back if the package. The 10 pack comes in a cool box that looks like it is filled with giant DE blades. There is a store near me that sells the tucks 4 for $1, so I bought a few so I could get the cool boxes. The Primes are the newest and there premium blade. The are a very good blade. While more expensive than the 301'S I can't tell a huge difference. They seem to be slightly sharper and last a few shaves more. Still just as smooth as there 301'S though. I enjoy the 301'S enough that the price jump to the Primes isn't worth it to me . But ymmv. And the Dove Expert Shave Series is amazing as always. I just wish I had known about it before it was discontinued. Honestly I probably wouldn't have paid the suggested retail price, the clearance price was what caught my attention. EveryReady 150 boar brush is small but mighty. Whipped up a great lather effortlessly. I'm really enjoying the Gillette Cool Wave AS splash. The Dove Expert Shave Series post balm is what I will miss the most when I use up the last bit of the no longer made Expert Series. Until tomorrow

Finishing January on my feet! Razor - Mongoose Blade - Brush - Vie Long 12601 - The Pony Soap - Tabac Post - Cold rinse, Alum, Nivea, The Veg Back on track with the first work day in awhile. I was a bit off schedule since I'm still trying to get things going again. But, the shave was great. The Mongoose still performs exceedingly well with the Feather Pro providing a near BBS on two passes with some touch up. Not much though. Then, to celebrate being back on my feet it was time to finish with the Mighty VEG!!!! And, in true form it worked again, providing a successful sales day to get things restarted. It's a privilege to be chosen! Hope your Wednesday was as good as mine ended up being. Not bad for my Monday at all. Now, if only I was fully recovered I would have come home to the best beer in STL these days. I have a six pack of Hefeweizen waiting for my return.
