    image.jpeg Razor: Merkur 34c HD 2014
    Brush: Jerusalem Olive Wood/WD Silvertip 24/48 2015
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street - coconut
    Blade: Feather (1)
Pre shave: Tree Hut Shea body wash
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Neutrogena Balm, Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS Frosted Glass 1960s

The Merkur 34c HD was my first razor back in May 2014, and it shaves very well. It does give me some burn if I use to much pressure or go over an area to many times. You can get away with doing that because this razor is so mild for me even with a fresh Feather in it. I starting to use a pre shave Shea soap because of the drier weather, to help keep my skin slick. The TOBS whipped up a thick lather and I screwed in the Feather, and checked the alignment and was good to go for my first pass WTG. A little rinse to see how we are doing and relather for a XTG pass on my face and ATG on my neck. Some more lather for touch up on my neck and we are done. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some Neutrogena Balm then some Old Spice Lime original Shulton From the 1960s! Nice smooth shave. Have a good one y'all!

Pretty decent shave for my first ever SE shave. Had one pretty decent nick over a pimple on my left jaw line but it stopped bleeding pretty quick. Kept the angle super low, since it is the most aggressive razor to ever touch my face. Excited to master this bad boy

    Have a great day!
Strapped on my "big-boy" panties just now and dialed the Fat Boy to 9. Talk about blade exposure!! A year ago, my face would have been covered with weepers. Today......none. Booyah. Somebody's got their technique honed. ;)

I definitely wouldn't recommend the Fat Boy on 9 for new wet shavers.
Still don't see the bottom of my MWF bowl :angry017: (even through all of that magnificent lather)
Am I allowed to load my brush for 10 minutes? ;)

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush
    Soap/cream- Fitjar Isrose
    Brush- Plisson synthetic
    Razor- AlumiGoose
    Blade- Feather Artist club Professional(4)
Post- Cold water rinse, Humphrey Witch hazel, Loreal aftershave balm and some extra moisturizing with Monu aftershave Age combat

Shave nr4 with the Goose, better than number 2 and 3 =) I can actually feel that the razor blade has lost a bit of its sharpness, but not enough of toss it.

I got an amazing first shave with this razor and then after that the shaves decreased in quality. I know its due to technique, but what did I do so different on that first shave. Maybe I went slower, I should try that.

Shave nr3 I used MdC, and this shave I used Fitjar, I think I will stick to my MdC for a few shaves until I figure the razor out a little better.

I have changed my facial wash to PC4MEN. My face has decided to get rid of all dirt under the skin so I have a few bumps and zits that interfered with the shave

I still got a nice close shave! its looking up from here =D

Decided to work in another shave with the feather today before I head out to spend the rest of my day with my father for his birthday.

Not the best shave. The feather is a good blade for shaves 2 & 3 but not 1 & 4. Today the blade felt a little less sharp but definitely lost any smoothness it had during there last two shaves.

Soap of indeterminate scent; several samples of a great tallow soap mixed in a Casual Elegance Hearth Side Stoneware sugar bowl from The Goodwill thrift store.
The Torrey Razor Company manufactured into the early 1960's. This one seems of the later years having a near NOS appearance. From the flea market to my green chromium oxide & red iron oxide balsa strop, then a good twenty passes over the poor man strop. Considering my skill, or lack there of, whisker removal proved efficient. Like many newbies I resorted to my best game to touch up. Should have installed a fresh blade in the Fat Boy. Then I could have blamed the straight instead of wondering which unit gave me minor irritation. Lucky Tiger is great for calming that.
    Good day, Gentlemen & Ladies.

    Will try this again.

    Razor: Schick G4
    Blade: Ted Pella(2)
    Oil: Secret Shave
    Soap/Brush/ Mug: VDH
    AS: Gillette gel

I finally found a razor that took care of that stubborn area under my chin. With the G4 I made 1st pass WTG, both sides. The 2nd pass was ATG/XTG. which not only took care of the area under my chin, but delivered a near BBS. Bill G4 Shave 004.JPG
