My own concoction taking base of Cryogen then adding lemon & lime essential oil and then being adventurous I added another quarter teaspoon of menthol crystals to the mix. Needless to say, if I make up another batch I WILL NOT be adding menthol crystals again as almost painful on the checks. And that was before I bought the cryogen aftershave so I am not sure if my face can take the aftershock of cryogen AS after the shave. But I do feel adventurous again.

    SHAVE OF the day
    20160131_224443.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real classic
Razor: Gillette ball end old type

    Blade: Super-Max titanium (5th shave)
    Brush: omega s synthetic
    Soap: Musgo Real shaving soap
    Aftershave: Musgo Real
    Balm: Soap Commander Resolution

2 pass shave today. It is tumescent to change this blade, some tugging, but was still a close shave. I love this new formula Musgo soap. I would rate it up there with I Coloniali as far as performance. Incredible lather, triple milled soap, and has that classic Musgo scent, What's not to love. No burning from the aftershave today which is a good sign. The Resolution Balm is great for moisturizing the skin, especially since we are expecting some snow soon. Hope everyone had a great shave!

    Pre-Shave: PAA Ice Pre-Shave Soap
    Soap: CRFTD Ranger Shaving Soap

    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Soap Commander Courage Balm
    Aftershave Splash: Fine American Blend
What's up TSD!!! I am back in Boston and hyped because the weather is supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow! Summer in February at school haha. Great shave for tonight to start off February. Used my soap and it worked very well. Great shave overall. Just a tip when using this soap, load up a ton of soap. I find that the lather is much creamier and thicker when you load up a lot of soap. Used my Merkur 1906 and Voskhod which is my daily and it worked great. Got a nice close shave with 2 passes. Soap Commander Courage balm which always works great, but I was surprised that the scent went so well with a barbershop. Followed up by Fine American blend which is one of my all time favorites. Have a great Monday everyone!

    Krampert's + Krampert's = superb menthol Monday
The soap yielded impressive amounts of thick lather to the HIS, which der Futur used to cushion it's efficient removal of my stubble. Three passes on six for a drama free BBS. I finished up with Krampert's Frostbite aftershave, which extended the cool feeling past forty minutes, and provided soothing skin care and moisture. I also found that Pi Neo goes nicely with the frosty pine scent of the aftershave.
    Prep: Van Yulay PSO
    Soap: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: der Futur
    Blade: Voskhod (3)
    AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    EdC: Givenchy Pi Neo

This Menthol Monday shave was so pleasurable as well as frosty - the MITA soap delivered its beautiful, citrusy scent with a ton of rich, creamy lather and plenty of chilliness. I really felt the menthol kick on the second pass, and the Snake Bite aftershave hit me like a frigid bomb! :happy088: :happy088:

GOOD MORNING GUYS. THREE PASS BBS TODAY WITH MY NEW OC WHICH I HAVE GROWN VERY FOND OF. MY @Jayaruh #12 WORKED IT'S FACE LATHERING MAGIC WITH EASE. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE NEVER TRIED VASELINE COOLING HYDRATING LOTION AND ARE LOOKING TO TRY A NEW BALM, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. IT'S VERY COOLING HAS A CRISP CLEAN OCEAN TYPE SCENT BUT DOESN'T CLASH WITH COLOGNES OR AS SPLASHES AS THE SCENT DISSIPATES IN 5 TO 10 MINUTES. HAVE A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY FOLKS. :)
