Here's a bit of friendly advice; whatever you decide to collect, forget about expecting us to talk you out of it. We are the biggest bunch of enablers you will ever meet.
I know how you feel. Last weekend I told my wife that I wasted opportunities in the 1970s. Of course she thought I said I was wasted in the 70s. Anyway, if I had only started acquiring razors then...
LOL. I know it. Now I am really eyeing the marketplace to see any razors that I can afford to satisfy my newly grown RAD.
I really blame it all on @Darkbulb ! Actually the internet is the real source of my jones. Had I not had access to all of this cool stuff I would have been fine.....
I think the addiction may have something to do with the instant gratification achieved when (a) learning a new skill, (b) learning how to do an old skill properly and/or allowing ourselves the opportunity to continually improve upon our skill as well as our appearance.
One other thing... ....its meditative. It's the rare activity...besides football...in which men voluntarily focus 100% of their attention on. This calms the relentless activity of thought, allowing our brains and our bodies to relax. Studies have proven that daily meditation is a healthy activity. Doesn't hurt that we experience our meditation through shaving.
Oh my.... what a beautiful shrine! You have some good collections there. In the long run, I might build one just like this. How do you build this cabinet? Can I use this image on my website?
