  4. I was going to wait until my face heals but I couldn't. My obsession with getting great shaves defeated my will power.

    Razor- gold tech
Blade - Israel made store brand
    Soap - tabac
    Brush - trader joes synthetic
Shave - wtg, xtg , atg, clean up
Post shave - neutrogena balm, witch hazel
Cologne - vintage Pinaud Citrus Musk

So I've shaved a few times now with my new gold tech. Twice with the Israel made blade and once with an new Astra sp. I have to say the Israel made blade and gold tech agree with each other. The Astra blade irritated my skin too much.
I got a great shave today. No weepers, no nicks and very very very little irritation. It was probably due to me being greedy and wanting the BBS result . I achieved it. It seems that this combo is working. Although I'm not getting slickness from the tabac , I really enjoy the lather and scent.

Even though my skin wasn't feeling that great from yesterday's shave which I didn't post, today's shave didn't add anymore irritation nor did it make my skin feel worst.
I'm a happy camper today. Thank you gents!!

This is the second time I have used a KMF cream. The cream lathers well and has excellent slickness and cushion. It is easy to find the sweet spot and does not dry out the face. The Goodwill as always fives a great shave.

  14. image.jpeg Razor: Merker Futur Polished Chrome 2015 (1.5)
Brush: Rubberset 400 #3 WD 24/50 Silvertip (Jedi Lightsaber)
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Cream: Castle Forbes cedarwood & sandalwood cream
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Tommy Bahamas Very Cool

Put a little Castle into my favorite OS mug, it is the biggest one they made, and I need the extra room for large brushes, and Lightsabers. This Lightsaber whipped up some nice warm lather. My Futur is a great razor, and on 1.5 it works great for me. I'm really happy with way it gives an effortless shaves. It's almost cheating how well it works. It made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG and done. The WH felt good, nice and fresh. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Tommy Bahamas Very Cool, very cool. Have I said this already, I really like this razor. Y'all have a good one!

  16. Thank you, Andrew and you are more than welcome to the images from the site if you so choose as I would never consider printing these images as I can imagine it would be too much work and who would want photos of shaving gear. :D

Post-Shave: The Holy Black Aftershave Balm
Aftershave (not pictured): Fine American Blend
Fantastic shave last night. I know I said I would not support Douglas after the whole scam thing, but I am intent on trying as many soaps on the market to compare to mine. Whether you love him or hate him, when it comes down to it this soap is very good. Lathered quick and easy and was thick and slick. Scent strength was a little weak, however. Post shave was very good too, not on par with Soap Commander, but IMO just below. Overall it was a very nice soap, competitively priced, too. Like I said, I don't want to support the guy, but the soap is very good. The scent works VERY well with Fine American blend. I'm a huge fan of barbershop scents and this one pairs very nicely with my favorite aftershave. Barriser & Mann Seville smells like a fresh barbershop, where this one smells more synthetic, but good in its own way. The Holy Black balm is also very good, has an old barbershop scent and is very moisturizing. As for my Semouge OC, I think it is very close to being broken in. what do you think @Primotenore ? Have a great day!
