This PIF is for those newbies out there that are starting with a VDH starter set or a MT1 (or clone) or really anyone who thinks this would be a good upgrade to whatever they are currently using. a few words about the gear. Or if you want to try to convert someone, say who

Omega S-Brush: This is a synthetic brush with super soft bristles. I used it 3 times and it just doesn't really get along with my face. Many youtube shavers rave about it. Just wasn't for me.

The Atomic Razor: Essentially a Merkur 30C clone that can be found on Amazon for $8. I wanted to see how it compared to an actual Merkur and I can tell you that visually the head geometry is the same as my RR Mission and is very close to my Merkur 34C. Since I don't need 3 razors that shave the same I'm including it here. I did test load a blade to make sure there weren't any alignment issues, and there weren't any.

A 5 pack of Astra SP's, so you can try a blade that most everyone likes.

And finally a Stick of Arko because it comes in a two pack and IMO makes a great lather, even if you don't love the smell (I don't mind it, but I don't love it either).
