Thanks Roby! I have but two brushes these days, the other is Omega 48. The Plisson was the AD killer.

Got a near BBS with my Gillette Tech and the usual prep(all the cheap stuff until I run out, or close to it). I`m expecting an order from Italian Barber, soap, brush(syn) and some blades. Just ran a "track package", they sent it from Portland to Medford(7 miles away). around 2:30 am. Medford sent it to Klamath Falls(70 miles away) at 6 am. It will be a miracle if K.F. can send over here in time to sort for delivery today. Been rearranging furniture this morning and I`m pooped.
I`m on the 3rd edge of the Personna blue and still getting a near BBS. I`m impressed. I`ll try a 4th tomorrow. Sorry, no picture.... just too tired.

    Until tomorrow(with picture), Bill

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

I haven't used my blue tip in a while so that was today's weapon of choice. Beautiful results and shave 6 or 7 on the Astra SS, I lost track. I keep saying I'll put a new blade in tomorrow but it keeps working good so I keep forgetting....

That's the one super speed I haven't tried, the blue tip. I've always thought I would like it.
Not a big fan of the others except for the 50's version.
    Great SOTD!

image.jpeg Razor: Gillette New LC Bar Handle 1930s Big Boy wood case
    Brush: e-shave finest Badger
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root cream
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Pinaud Clubman AS
A little change of pace today, and put down the Futur. Back with the Gillette New LC, and I'm looking forward to a good shave with it. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Looks good and I'm really liking this razor. Whipped up a thick warm lather in the OS Mug. The warm Maca Root lather felt real good on my face? First pass was very close, and the razor sang a nice tune to let me know how it was going. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. No buffing needed. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Pinaud Clubman AS. Y'all have a good one.

    Blade: Gillette Platinum (1)
    Brush: Fendrihen Silver Tip
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
A/S: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle (TEST)

Outstanding shave today, and very close to a BBS, okay BBS. The Red Tip is an amazing razor. the Gillette Platinum is one of my favourite blades. The Soap is out of this world (Top Drawer).

Thank you. I really like the red tip. The blue tip is definitely more mild, I'd equate it to a Fatboy on 2(maybe 3).
