It's unreal - I bought a Nivea Sensitive cream a few months ago and I've only used it once. It's much better than the regular version of Nivea.

Seven down and three more to go. Actually four, still sitting on a older Wolf Whiskers handle that I dropped a Plisson knot into it four months ago for my nephew but still haven't shipped it out.

    Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Personna blue(4 on that edge)
    Soap/cream: Equate in can
Oil: Home made (orange essential oil) in used bottle.
    AS: Gillette gel

The 1st pass, across cheek, then WTG down to the "apple", same on other side. 2nd pass, ATG with occasional clean-up in difficult places. wash up with layer of lather in places previously missed. a little better than a DFS. Satisfied with 4th time on that edge.
The picture I`m going try to upload is exactly how I finished (no arrangement, just turned labels to front. This is look into who I am, a plain average guy.
I mixed up some oil yesterday, orange aroma. I am open to any pre oil suggestions. This was my 1st try (1/2 half castor oil- 1/2 half olive oil and orange essential oil. Bill Feb 72016 001.JPG

Two different individuals asked me this question regarding Butterface Shave Soap so I thought I might as well put my reply on this forum as well:

"What do you think of the Butterface shaving soap? I almost bought it in the past, but I held off. Am I missing out on something I shouldn't?"

For $9 a puck including shipping it is a steal. First one I have tried from Butterface and this particular Lavender/Sandalwood/touch of sweet orange was a custom soap for me and they didn't charge me any more than a normal puck to do so. On their website and ebay page, the lather you see in the pics is exactly what I got and lathers up quite quickly. I loaded up 17-20 seconds and had enough lather for 3 pass shave though only two required. This soap is slick and when rinsing off nice smooth slick post shave feel. Since this was a custom blend for me I have no knowledge on any of their other scents but I would recommend this soap on performance alone, especially at $9 a puck.
