I know it's not shaving related...but it is essential for my new business venture. This: This skin combo (back and edge): This screen protector x2: This USB for backing up client files:
I don't think this razor would excite a lot of people (I'm sure @Sabre has five ) - but I really liked it and was happy to get it It's a NIB/NOS black-and-yellow Schick Super II razor model. Made in Holland around, I believe 1972.
This one isn't disposable but it sure is an old cartridge Yeah, I like mixing it up in the mornings - an artisan Wolfman stainless steel one day, a Wilkinson disposable cartridge the next and...an injector the next. And so on
I thought of you the other day when I saw on eBay a cartridge razor in a wooded box nos. I don't remember the name but it said something about a barbershop promo or something. It was cool looking
I happen to think it's very cool. I like twin cartridge razors. To me twins shave the best out of cartridge razors. I use twins often on my head and with my headblade. I like the yellow. Were those cartridges pivot or not? I didn't know the lubrication strip was already around in 1972.
Another assortment pack of blades. I was at my son's house last weekend, and he pulled out an old Schick injector...said "Eversharp" on the case, but looked like a Type L or J. I told him to clean it up & put it to use.
Also picked up one of these relatively rare Wilkinson Sword bonded razors with the large sword logo on the handle. I do have another one just like this one, also NOS/NIB, and...now that I have two I will be "able" to open and use one of them As it also comes w/ five bonded razor cartridges I felt pretty good spending $9 on it.
After a couple of weeks of slow contact and negotiations. Cost me more than I intended but got it. ETA early next week. Sender even asked if I don't mind if he throws in a FatBoy case and a few blade holders he doesn't use. 1938 Gillette Senator open comb razor and a 1947 Gillette Aristocrat in with case and blade holder
And the replay without sounding extremely excited " uh HELL YEAH!!! Throw it all in.. I'll take it ALL"!
Mind huh !!! I said "I'd appreciate that". I have an FB case that has one roller hook broken. The FB case would make for a great replacement.
Got the long SA today...cleaned up really nice... ...now, just waiting for the red-tip to come in from the Great White North!
