Mother-in-law gave me a little cash for Christmas and said "buy something for yourself!" I ordered several things in the days following and they've been trickling in ever since. Like I said in the "What are you waiting for?" thread, this is a batch of firsts for me.

The last package was the Astra SP blades, my first bulk blade purchase since settling on these as my go-to. They came with my first stick of Arko.
Had my first Tabac shave today, will post comments elsewhere. (I like it.)
The Kent Infinity Silvertex is my first synthetic brush. I was looking for a low-cost entry point, and this seemed to be well thought of. It's super soft but I haven't tried it out yet.
I'm probably most excited about the Soap Commander sampler of 9 soaps, my first artisan soap and my first soap that didn't come from a big box or pharmacy shelf. The hand-written card was a nice touch, and I'll buy a puck of something after I work through the scents. Merry Christmas to me!

    Now to clean my sink...

I really love the concept of showing the whole day as one cycle on the watch - it actually does make you view the day a bit differently. Very nice!

Just got this razor from the antique store yesterday. After I accidently broke my only OC, I decided to treat myself to a new vintage razor. I have been told it is a single ring old type. The head looks cool and have not tried one of these before.

I'm eyeing that Slow Jo 17... I've had a small tin of LPL in my den for about 3 years now. I leave the lid off for a day, after each use, and the scent has certainly not diminished

I have a dealer who has one just like this.. I've been able to talk him down to $45.. But I'm not sure. Anybody thinks it's a good price? I'm not familiar with this razor at all.

I would suggest you search EBay advance for sold items in order to establish
market prices. Pricing is never stagnant on vintage items and vary based on condition, cases, demand and shipping.

if it's in good shape, I'd do it. ain't like they're making them anymore.
they are scarce enough that I haven't been able to snag one yet. and the first one I see for 45, I'm grabbing it.

I just received the same blades. After I ordered them, I found out they are junk. I went ahead and ordered some stainless feathers. They do fine.
