Don't make the common mistake of trying to tuck the blade end underneath the spring tab. You can damage the razor that way. Just set the blade in place and tighten it down. Be prepared for one of the best shaves of your life. It's mild, efficient, and well made. There's a reason I own one and have a minty backup, just in case I drop the first one. The Cooper MonoBilt is in my top three best shaving razors list. It takes standard DE blades.
There is actually lots of competition at this event. I often hear "I already sold the nice ones". I really lucked out that this guy had them on a side table in the back.
