I'm a big fan of the Polsilver, and an even bigger fan of variety! It will be nice when you get home to your treasures!
Tuesday's TESC Pre-Shave Oil Proraso Green Shaving Soap Jayaruh #40 Ubersoft 2 Gillette Red Tip Personna Blue CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #40 Ubersoft 2 synthetic brush. Two passes with my Gillette Red Tip razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
The B1 is on deck for the morning, this is my first repeating razor and I have had some remarkable shaves with it. Recently the type C has been a favorite but this razor will deliver so time for another visit!
Per martedi - una rasatura italiana! (For Tuesday - an Italian shave!) Here we go: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Astra day 2 Proraso Green SS Lucky Tiger AS Cream Proraso Green AS A good selection - very cooling, although not nearly as intense as a Menthol Monday setup. I still enjoy the Proraso Green soap's lather and nice eucalyptus scent, its menthol effect is good enough to satisfy me, and there's sufficient skincare to give a good post-shave feeling. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream is more cooling with such wonderful moisturizing and I love the scent. The Proraso Green aftershave splash is terrific - it smells great and puts a hell of a chill in to the skin to finish off a shave!

Expecting a snow storm overnight so I decided to shave tonight to save time in the morning. Since I had the time, I went with the "full meal deal"............... Started with a eucalyptus hot towel over Barbasol Menthol shave cream to soften up the whiskers.......... Proraso shave cream bowl lathered w/Semogue OC Boar........ '59 Gillette Fatboy (3) w/7 o'clock Sharp Edge blade......... Witch hazel rinse followed by Nivea Cooling ASB finishing w/Barbasol Blue aftershave........ 3-passes w/some touch-up for a BBS shave!
Thanks Robert. '34 Aristocrat is a fantastic shaver for me and the Calani arrived on Saturday and smells great. Looking forward to the morning shave.
Cathy from Calani has some pretty darned good soaps. I've never bought any of them but I received a couple of them in trade from a German friend of mine from the Gut Rasiert forum!
Mysore Sandal & Cremo Omega Pro #248 boar Suribachi bowl Gillette SS'47 & AstraSP AquaVelva Musk AS & Cologne Continuing my sampling of Super Lather, today's sandalwood guest soap was purchased in a local market. It's not shave soap, & I was told it wasn't going to work. Adding Cremo didn't help. Not even a big ole brush in a highly recommended bowl could fix this lather. That didn't stop an Astra on it's 3rd use. Didn't help much either. At least the Aqua Velva was good while it lasted. By the time I was done shaving the Novocaine had worn off from the dentist visit. Sheesh, Mondays...
For over a year I kept reading how good her soaps were so traded for this one. This smells great and hope it is a good as all the reviews.
