Waiting on a puck of vintage Palmolive shaving soap. Got it for $7.50 shipped, looking forward to trying it out, vintage soaps are great, so I have high expectations.
lol sorry Robby, beat you to the punch. I have seen the Colgate shaving soap, but I believe this one is the green Palmolive puck, which I haven't heard much about it. Vintage shaving soap usually has great performance, I found one called Royal London that makes some of the best lather I have ever seen.
Ordered a modular strop paddle from straight razor designs today. Almost all set, won't need to buy anything else...
Lousy day at the mailbox. Knucklehead's sent fifty 7 O'clock Blacks instead of Blues and my Schick G1 case didn't arrive and it looks like the guy didn't ship on the 9th when he said he did. No answer from him. Now I have 2 claims to do. Sometimes this is just like work. Paperwork, paperwork.....
This one is for Valentine's day, smells like vanilla. They've been hard to get a hold of. As for pairing with Wellington, maybe you're thinking of fireside? Cognac?
Ahh, sorry, it was Ryan PlanofMan that served Wellington on Valentine's, not you! He posted a photo in the How's your day thread. My bad.. I was, in other words, really thinking of Valentine's. (Fireside could be interesting, though, as would Henri et Victoria's version - cognac and cigar, was it? More of a guys night kind of soap I guess.)
Another Catie's Bubbles order..... this makes 4 in less then a week....I have issues... Celtic Knot Mile High Menthol
Not shaving related but I blame @ChiefShaver here for enabling me to get a Slow Watch After going back and forth..and back again on what watch and strap combination I wanted...I finally settled on the "Jo 17". Funny thing is that's the very first combo that I liked..I guess trust your gut. I like the combination of stainless steel casing and the thicker, more 'rugged' strap. If I really like the watch I can always get a second strap as well Should arrive already tomorrow.
@Darkbulb: Very nice. Thumbs up. That one is a looker too. Now i´m thinking of buying your strap myself. Congrats to this beautiful watch.
