Ah, good old "Processing exception" I know you well. Think the longest that held up a package for me was over a week.
Wow, thanks! I've seen some positive reviews, but that's more than I found so far. Those scales are really nice looking too. I do like the woodgrain on the one I got. From the pics anyhow. Really looking forward to trying a straight.
Bought something relatively "unseen". Will be sent a thick pewter bowl, made in Sheffield, as the one in the pictures below - and also a NIB "Merkur razor with teeth" (the person selling it is not a razor-person). Haven't seen a photo of the razor..should arrive this week and I'm curious as to what I will get. For $25 incl. shipping it may turn out ok....
The recent pics of Slow watches gave me the WAD I've been looking at watches on the bay - Slows at first, but wound up (heh) with a Russian diving watch in stead. A custom/modded Vostok Amphibia. Had to get a leather strap for it as well
I'm in the same boat...been drooling over some Slow Watches and also looked at various other brands... We'll see.....

Not that I ever intended nor indicated anywhere that I would be in NB16, but I still would consider this a slip up. Two more orders at TVBShaving and Gifts&Care: A Fine Clean Vetiver AS (hoping that it indeed does approximate Guerlain's Vetiver), a PAA Dirt shaving soap (never tried PAA before) and a Haslinger schafsmilch soap (never tried Haslinger before either). My credit card weeps; the shaving demon rejoices.
I have been curious of that one, almost pulled the trigger myself. Should have had it this past weekend, though, shouldn't you, to go with the Beef Wellington!?
Waiting on a puck of vintage Palmolive shaving soap. Got it for $7.50 shipped, looking forward to trying it out, vintage soaps are great, so I have high expectations.
lol sorry Robby, beat you to the punch. I have seen the Colgate shaving soap, but I believe this one is the green Palmolive puck, which I haven't heard much about it. Vintage shaving soap usually has great performance, I found one called Royal London that makes some of the best lather I have ever seen.
