    2/7/16 update as promised...

    Had to share my "crazy diet" results as of this morning and since two Sundays ago (last time I was on a scale previous to vacation).

    As of today... down 1.96 lbs, of which, 1.49 lbs was fat loss bringing my weight down to 167.2 lbs at 18.4%.

    Anybody trying "bulletproof" or "fatty" coffee? Basically, you add up to a Tbl. of good fat (coconut oil, grass fed butter, or MCT oil) to your morning coffee as a way to get your body to burn fat throughout the day. (Research seems to indicate that "good" fat as your first meal sets your body up to fatburn through the day.)

  9. lol. Depends who you ask. It is allowed on Paleo diet And on most low carb diets. personally, I don't believe that anything that you may could be bad for you. So long as you don't overdo it.

  11. Today's report... about 3.5 weeks out...
    Down to 165.0 lbs at 17.9% body fat. So, thus far: down 3.4 lbs total, of which, the majority (1.95 lbs) has been fat.

  14. I tried it a couple of times now and I kind of like the taste. I also add a small pinch of sea salt.

  15. What's your goal? How much water are you drinking? I've found that if I drink 64 oz a day I'll stay full longer, I drink a big glass of water before I eat a meal. I'm enjoying your journey.
  16. Friend of mine lost close to 80 lbs in five months by following a rather simple diet;
    "eat whatever you want minus sugars, grains, pasta, potatoes, corn and quiona - and make sure approx half of your calories are coming from vegetables for the rest eat bacon, steak whatever you want"

  17. I just want to get my body fat percentage down because it all tends to collect in my stomach which doesn't look good compared to the rest of my weight lifting and exercising. I have been drinking a lot of water and that does help also upping my fiber intake as well as healthy oils.

  18. that's basically Paleo diet and it is quite effective however I don't eat my vegetables and I can't have dairy because of lactose intolerance. So I would find paleo very hard and boring to follow.

  19. Yeah giving diet recommendations is so hard because how able you are to follow it differs so much from person to person.

    I guess the only relatively safe one is 'eat smaller portions and be more active' :)
