too early to tell. I only shave every other day so this is only the second time I've used it.

 

Prep - Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade - Gillette Silver Blue
Brush - Vie-Long 04312 Cachurro Horse
Soap - Razor Master Uula
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
Result - DS (Dolphin smooth)

First time in over a year with this blade, they are so smooth but as sharp as I remember. First outing for this soap, smells gorgeous, although reminiscent of fudge. Gorgeous lather but where I think this soap really excels is post shave feel, it's Xpec good! Really enjoying using the same razor for a month, still deciding what next month will be though.

I felt a bit tired so had a nice menthol shave to wake me up.

Kevin, I've been using the W. Neumann soap included in the A.S. sampler order, and it's a nice fragrance. As for the samplers themselves, look for a report by the week-en d. I have the Signature 1907, the 1911, and the Heartwood ready to go(for now).

Jeff, with the excitement I'm having with these Wm.(Bill)Neumann samplers, I forgot about Fine.. Bad me. I'll be buying them for spring/summer though. I'm sure I'll buy one or more of the Neumanns soon. The only face-freezer, I think, would be their "Absolute Zero".

 

To use the popular slang, I have indeed been "sniffing around" the samplers already. Quality indeed.

Night music is amazing... So complex in scent that smells one way out of the tub and transforms slightly once lathered. Highly recommend. The lather is second to none, CRSW v.2 comes close. Fantastical.

 

Tobacco Tuesday


Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
Razor: Gillette ball end tech
Blade: Bic (2nd shave)
Brush: RazoRock plissoft
Soap: RazoRock Tobacco #1
Post: Osage rub/ Myrsol Emulsion


2 pass shave today. The scent really comes to life once this soap is lathered, rather than just from the tub. I prefer the tallow RR soaps, but it made a nice lather, and turned out to be a pretty good shave today. Finished off with Emulsion which helps soothe and moisturize the skin. Hope everyone had a great shave!

 

My plan for Wednesday. PAL injectomatic with some TOBS and Myrsol. This razor is rather simple but man what a shave! Have a great day everyone!
