Odin's Day: Day 23 of my second round of blade testing

Prep: Hot shower, Nivea Facial Cleanser
    Brush: Omega #11575
Lather: Ginger's Garden Jasmine Oakmoss with clay and mango butter
Razor: First Quarter 1971 Black Handle Super Speed
    Blade: Treet Platinum (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (7, 8, 9)
Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma Alum, Thayer's Witch Hazel pad, Ginger's Garden Jasmine Oakmoss AS splash

Pretty good lather today after a couple days not shaving, but I probably could have put a bit more water on the puck, particularly by the 3rd pass. The SS is mild as ever, but the Treet Platinum definitely let me know it was starting to struggle a bit, as it gave more tactile feedback than it had in previous uses, even after the initial pass to mow down the growth. No bloodshed or real irritation, though, with DFS+ results.

Prep: Hot Shower/ Nivea Sensitive Face Wash
    Pre-Shave: PAA Ice Soap
Cream: AOS Ocean Kelp Shaving Cream
    Brush: Whipped Dog 24mm Silvertip
    Razor/ Blade: Muhle R89 & Maggard Mr-5/ Personna Lab Blue (3)
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm
    Aftershave: Fine Platinum
Very nice shave last night. The AOS Cream is very nice stuff. Lathers up great and provides cushion and slickness. The Ocean Kelp is a great salty, kelp scent that smells like the beach. Forgot how mild the Muhle R89 head is--no irritation at all. The whipped dog brush worked very well. My first shave with it, so it is breaking in, but it did work well. Compared to the Semogue OC Badger, there is no backbone so probably best to use it with only soft creams or soaps. Have a great day.

My wife bought several essential oils that were sitting in the linen closet so I decided to add this to my routine when I had a little extra time.

That explains it....not. I must have posted something that warrants the G-Man reference, which BTW, I did understand. Tell me, please. I am so curious.

Wrapping up my puck of MWF. I can get a couple more shaves out of the remaining and that's that!
The Fat Boy has really performed this past month. I love the ability to choose my aggressiveness.
Combined with the super-smooth Polsilver, it's a winner.

While I enjoy the Floïd Blue, my nose is crying out for another scent, especially my cache of vintage Old Spice AS's.
Will it be Burley? Or Lime, or Leather? TSD will know Monday.

    Have a great day!
