It was the last ones that had the Rounded Ferrule..They usually came in a see Through Plastic Case with a Red Base.. Billy..
Glad to know it's an early model G1. Thanks for the info everyone! It is a great little razor. One day I'll get some Personna injector blades. I really like Personna lab blues for DE shaving so I assume the Personna injector blades would be the same quality. I'll need to work through my Schick blades first, and that will take a while! Thanks again!

Enjoy every stroke......I really like both the Schick and Personnas in the G's....But many have their favs, as you know blades have a very high YMMV factor.....}8^))

Shaved with the Gillette Twinjector for the first time today. This was the only injector razor that Gillette ever made. A rather mild shave but in the end it did deliver a very smooth, clean-shaved face
I've been wondering about that shave report and when we'd get the update. Glad you got kept the other one unopened?
Anyone wouldn't happen to know how long they made these GEM Fetherweights? I know ads came out around 1953 I believe I've read on here.
It would appear that they were made until the late 1950s..Waits Compendium doesn't have an exact date..They were available on the shelves through to the early 60s because they were Mass Produced & there was plenty of Old Stock.. Billy..
Thanks Billy. I like it and then the Pushbutton is even better to me for these later models. I guess I have to get me a repeater! Everyone is using them these days. Haha
Second shave w/ the Twinjector this morning. Pretty much the same take on in - very mild and forgiving but is able to provide a clean, close shave in the end.
