February 18 Weber Polished Head DE Feather (1) Kent BK4 silvertip badger Route 66 Lumberjack Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Alt Innsbruck I skipped yesterday's shave, so I two days of growth this morning. WTG/ATG, XTG and I'm near-BBS. I had this cup made as a joke when I was in college about 35 years ago. Who said engineers were strange? I hope everyone had a fine day!
How are the Route 66 soaps? I keep seeing a lot of them in SOTD's...I may have to investigate this soap by grabbing some...... Beautiful brush by the way!
Thank you for the kind words! The Kent BK4 is one of my first brushes, and I really enjoy using it. I hope you decide to try the Route 66 soap! It is one of the best shave soaps I've ever used. It has great slickness and protection, and the scent is fantastic. My Bride is not a big fan of the old timey soap scents, but she really likes the Route 66 Lumberjack. "With notes of fresh pear and pineapple, mid notes of juniper berries and eucalyptus; and well rounded base notes of spruce woods, Douglas fir, cedar and white musk." If that's not enough, Salty Belle offers a discount for TSD members, which makes it almost impossible to pass up. This puck was a generous gift from Douglas Carey.

Friday's Freezie Weezie Shave: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Astra day 5 Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS Lucky Tiger AS Cream Fine Snake Bite AS Obsession For Men EdT Hey, I have to make up for the lack of menthol which I went through although I definitely enjoyed my shave. I looking forward to a rapturous, bone-chilling cold one for Friday morning, so I'll be going all-out on the menthol goodness. The Glacial Lemon Chill's a soap which delivers mega-time on the freeze with a delightful scent and brilliant lather as well as some of the best skincare you could ask for. It's hard to beat the Lucky Tiger a/s cream for cooling comfort, and a couple of splashes of the Snake Bite can almost make you see your breath - that's how cold it is! Wishing everybody a great weekend in advance!
