I hope everyone had a fine day!

  3. How are the Route 66 soaps? I keep seeing a lot of them in SOTD's...I may have to investigate this soap by grabbing some......

    Beautiful brush by the way!

  9. Thank you for the kind words! The Kent BK4 is one of my first brushes, and I really enjoy using it.

I hope you decide to try the Route 66 soap! It is one of the best shave soaps I've ever used. It has great slickness and protection, and the scent is fantastic. My Bride is not a big fan of the old timey soap scents, but she really likes the Route 66 Lumberjack.

If that's not enough, Salty Belle offers a discount for TSD members, which makes it almost impossible to pass up. This puck was a generous gift from Douglas Carey. :happy088:

The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #40 Ubersoft 2 synthetic brush. Two passes with my Gillette Red Tip razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Obsession For Men EdT

Hey, I have to make up for the lack of menthol which I went through although I definitely enjoyed my shave. I looking forward to a rapturous, bone-chilling cold one for Friday morning, so I'll be going all-out on the menthol goodness. The Glacial Lemon Chill's a soap which delivers mega-time on the freeze with a delightful scent and brilliant lather as well as some of the best skincare you could ask for. It's hard to beat the Lucky Tiger a/s cream for cooling comfort, and a couple of splashes of the Snake Bite can almost make you see your breath - that's how cold it is! ;) :D

Wishing everybody a great weekend in advance! :)

2 pass shave today. This soap has a nice scent and makes a nice lather. The Big Ben is a blade I haven't used in a while, but I remember getting good shaves with them. Very smooth finish for todays shave. I hope everyone has a great shave today!
