In praise of Stirling Soaps...

I owe it to myself to get the Bay Rum, Stirling Spice, and Sharp Dressed Man. My budget is so damned tight these days, unfortunately.

 

I wasn't a huge fan of Gatlinburg either the first time I smelled it, but it really grew on me. Now it is one of my favorite Stirling scents. The Ben Franklin is my favorite, followed by Barbershop, but I may put Gatlinburg as my third. In reality, none of the Stirling scents have been bad IMO.

 

Ozark Mountain and Cocoa Forest are very good. The latter is now discontinued...

 

Well by now you must have 1 million soaps. Haha

Just pick one up as your budget allows.

 

I wanted to get cocoa forest. I didnt know they discontinued it.

 

Has anyone tried mountain man??? It is based off another creed fragrance. I will probably get it anyway. Just wanted to here thoughts on it first.

 

Yeah, I might have to do it that way - times are tough for me right now. This year has become expensive too early.

They discontinued Cocoa Forest? I like that one too. It is a complex scent.

 

Yeah, guys, i received email about it a few weeks ago. I refuse to believe it wasn't selling, I mean it smells amazing and has the same benefits as the other Stirling soaps with very good moisturizing effect. How lame!

 

No Cocoa Forest?!?!

 

It sucks but at least they have like 50 other scents for us to choose from.

 

The problem is that the Canadian dollar is very low compared to the US, and also I have had very, very high expenses so I need to tighten the belt for some time, but I thank you so much for your encouragement.

 

That is too bad. I think some people may not have liked the idea of cocoa scented soap, and so they didn't try it.

 

Yup, they probably prejudged it and never tried it and truthfully it smells more forestry than anything else. This bites!

 

Yep, it is one of the scents I would have bought again. My puck is probably 90%, so I will have to conserve a bit now.

 

I liked it. A lttle perfumey but a good scent.

Mountain Man will be the next Stirling soap I order. I've heard it's very good, and most people who like Ozark love Mountain Man.

 

I doubt it is gone forever. Just keep your eyes peeled, They very well might do a run again. It might not be that the scent was a flop as much as they have to prioritize their time?? Guessing they are just gearing up to be batching all the warm weather stuff. Two people trying to keep up with as many products as they make, has to be insane. They are down a guy/gal right now too, so I know they are mega busy.
