  7. I believe @crackstar aka Jeff uses it and I've read positive reviews from him. I've been thinking about buying some next time I'm at WallyWorld. :)

  9. Yes, I saw it there a while back. The cool thing is that it works with a brush from what I've read. :)
  10. I can't find them anywhere here locally. But in not to eager to buy some either. I've got enough soaps and creams ( lol I'm not like you all) 3 soaps and 2 creams is plenty right now. Once I finish one, I'll buy another.
  11. Exactly. I think it's awesome! :)

Country Club for Men Fern shave soap is on its way.
  16. Just got the Nivea shave cream in last night.

First time use produced a lot of lather with just a finger tip full. Not quit as slick as I thought it would be, but if you keep your razor wet it works pretty good.

Left my skin feeling clean without any residue. Slapped on some Clubmans and Nivea balm and I was good to go. Gave me a nice shave! I will have to work at the cream and water ratio.
  17. Thanks for the update. That looks like some nice thick lather. :happy088:
  18. That looks very much like a Simpson's Best badger knot. (Except for the whole two band thing). How much did that cost you, and what is the knot size on that?

  19. I'm guessing $25 ;)

  20. It isn't often (like 'never' ;)) that I come across a vintage frameback razor with a blade this large. The majority are in the 5/8" range with some creeping towards 6/8. This smiley blade is a hair under 1.0" in width. Circa 1860-1875). This one should clean up nicely (removal of some of the black rust and gunk)…
