Hello, there are obvious flaws in the heads. I have not shaven with them yet, but the description on Amazon had a disclaimer about the heads being very aggressive. And yes, they are advertised for the handle. They do suggest throwing away the head that comes with them. Looking at their poor quality, I can understand this. I don't know if I will shave with the original heads or not.

The bergamot and bay smells a lot like Strop Shoppe Baker Street. Smells fantastic. The Savon is like punch you in the face lavender.

 

No picture but my Futur arrived about 10 minutes ago... Have been up since 6am tracking it's whereabouts, saw it updated to out for delivery and when I saw the postman pull up I almost trampled him to get the package.

Almost...lol I ran out the door so fast the opening door almost whacked him in the face... I know our postman pretty well so he is use to this "normal behavior" from me.

 

This is great! Gonna keep an eye on your SOTD's, well I already do anyway.

 

I told him to wear football pads on Monday as that's when my Gillette Fatboy will be arriving (My dream razor) and I may skip opening the door and just run through it!

Today's mail call. B1 1956 Flair Tip in pretty dang good condition if you ask me. TTO mechanism was a little stiff and had a slight sticking point but a good soak and scrubbing bubbles cleared it right, most likely just something in the mechanism. Already had this brush but it's new knot came in so wanted to show that off as well. Handle is a vintage Klenzo, "Sold Only at The Roxall Store" engraved on it. Knot is a 24 mm badger. And it is massive. Biggest knot in my den at the moment. Won't get used for a couple of days, apoxy needs to cure but I'm very excited. The Flair Tip is getting used in today's shave after I get a post workout meal in me. Happy hauling ladies and gentlemen

Thanks! My wife cleans her jewellery with olive oil so thought I'd try it on the handle. Worked great and even polished it a little. I like darker reds, just like this brush handle. It will be getting lots of use when it's ready

 

I've used olive oil on my cars black trim in a pinch and it worked great!

 

Olive oil: great for many things, just not shave lather lol

 

So then that means you would like Route 66 Cavendish or Country Club Cahaba blues...they all smell similar.

 

CRSW Oliva would beg to differ...
