Funny to hear that. In Calgary they opened a Cabelas last year and it doesn't hold a candle to the Bass Pro Shop that's 10 minutes away from it. Then again, it's the worst Cabelas I have ever been in.
I'm borrowing this from my dad. I've never read it before. He told me to be careful with it as it's his autographed copy. Thoughts from those who have read it?
They opened a Cabelas down in Delaware a few years back. Wasn't overly impressed with that one. Much smaller than the one in Hamburg. I'm sure there are larger Bass Pro Shops out there that are worth going to.
The BPS near my place is 2 stories and about 3 times the size of the Cabelas...so it kind of has the advantage. :/
This day was like yesterday, only starting two hours earlier. Midnight to 6am, home for a nap until 10, then cooked a big breakfast in my new ceramic coated skillet...two pancakes, some of my landlady's ham, and a couple of fried eggs. Tried to rain, so I've been inside, goofing off, trying to ignore the siren's call of ebay. Landlady found me a little pickle jar or some such, the perfect size for my brush, so I cleaned it up & poked some holes in the lid, and made a nice little travel case. Debating whether to fix some red beans & rice with shrimp for my work lunches next week, or go with tamales & chili. Could make some tuna fish, I reckon. *sigh* first-world problems...
Our indoor/outdoor cat has been hunting lately, in the last two days he's managed to in the house two big mice! Alive of course. Yes, you guessed who has the job of finishing off the little rodent. I suppose a mouse is better then the rabbit he's brought home or the Opossum.
Travel try outs with the 8yo this AM, breakfast with the wife and kids, game of baseball in the yard w/the boys, dropped the wife at the airport and the ex picked up my boys for her week (shared custody). Now it's me, the dog and two cats till Thursday. Entertain me plz lol.
Don't forget curling. Tho, that's really more of an activity than a sport. Anyhow, I'll take the chocolate mousse.
