So i received my first two arko sticks in a very Generous PIF at the end of February/beginning of March. I instantly fell in love with arko, and i use it more than all my other soaps and creams, and on average use it twice a week, here's how much ive used since then. This stuff has absolutely crazy longevity, and regardless of what you think about its scent, this stuff offers slickness and lather that is up there with the best! @Bama Samurai did an Arko Challenge where he catalogued how many shaves he could get from a stick of Arko. I think it was over 150. Click HERE to see the Arko Challenge thread. Crazy longevity is right.
arko is great soap,i just prefer it pressed in a bowl to load it.not into rubbing a stick on the face so much..

I'm not a stick fan but I really love this soap. All I do is shave and press it into my bowl and use it as I would a hard soap. Bought a box of 12, should last awhile. but if I hear the soap will be discontinued, I'll stock up.
I bought the big box around January and have probably used it for 75% of my shaves since then and am barely more than halfway through the first stick I think you could easily manage to make an Arko stick last a year
Arko shelf life is similar to uranium. "Uranium 235 has a half life of 700,000,000 years. That means if you have one pound of it today you will have 8 ounces of it in seven hundred million years. For all intents and purposes for human consideration, there is no shelf life to enriched uranium."
