Bakelite problem

    Gents,

    After a year in storage, my assembled Niellite 400 is stuck tight and won't unscrew. I suspect corrosion set up in the threads. Can't torque it much for fear of splintering the bakelite. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Kroil, or PB blaster.

    Or freeze it, heat the head under hot water, and try unscrewing it.
